East Asia Team Home

The East Asia team returned home on Monday evening after 49 hours of planes, trains, and taxis. We had a blessed time doing Kingdom work with local believers. We were able to share the Good News with 86 people and the Lord brought 15 new brothers and sisters into His family. We look forward to telling you more about this journey. The team will be reporting on Sunday, June 10, at 6:00 p.m. 

Pray for these new believers and their families. Pray for the house church leaders as they disciple and continue to share the Hope for this world among their people. Thank you for praying over the past several weeks. 

Great Times

Thank you for your pr. We went out and talked to 12 people. Two of them are now in the family. Pr for their connection to a fellowship. It has been a blessed week. 

Coffee House Fun

Many Conversations

On Thursday we spent the whole day around different parts of the city. Our groups shared with 42 people. We had five receive the story and commit their lives. Pr for the fellowship that will connect with these new brothers and sisters.

Pr for us as we go out again today to share the story. We will have an English corner again tonight. We hope to set up appointments with these individuals so they can hear more about amazing grace.

Everyone is healthy and enjoying the food. The people are very friendly, and our translators are bold and faithful.

Celebration

On Wednesday we went out across the city to start up conversations with the locals. Our groups were able to talk to 15 people. Three of them are new to our family, the angels are rejoicing, seeds were planted, and several of them want to investigate more and possibly visit a fellowship.

Thank you for the Kentucky quarters that you all sent. They have assisted us in telling the story, and our translators have done a great job using it as a bridge to continue our conversations.

We visited a Buddhist temple. The team witnessed the darkness of this religion. Pr for these strongholds to be broken. Pr for our conversations that will take place over the next several days. Pr for the follow-up. Blessings.

Fertile Soil

Praise the Father. Today we went out across the city with our translators. Our group was able to have conversations with 15 individuals. Five of them are new brothers and sisters, and two others want to meet again to learn more about the Way. One group was invited into a middle school and some of us were able to attend a university English class that R teaches. 

Tonight we will all go back to the university to help with an English gathering. Pr that we will have students that desire to meet with us later this week to hear more about our lives. We will invite them to the coffee house on Friday night.

PR the City

We are being blessed by the time to be with R & N in their city. They are being wonderful hosts. We have been on trains, planes, and automobiles. Today we went out and pr around the city. Everyone is healthy. The locals are attracted to tall people (Woody). We have been treated to some delicious local cuisine. Tomorrow we will be helping with an English corner group. Pr for our team as we will be connecting with these students. Pr for our translators as they make sacrifices this week to assist us in talking with the locals.

Arrival in East Asia!

The East Asia team left Friday morning our time & just arrived at their 1st destination (Saturday PM their time, Saturday morning for us). Currently, they are headed to a hotel. Sunday AM for them (Saturday PM for us), they will take a long train ride to the city where they will stay.
