Only God’s Story helps us understand our world and make sense of our lives.  That’s why it’s vital for ALL disciples to truly grasp the power of God’s Story, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  The Story is designed to help people KNOW God’s Story.  When people identify with God’s Story, they LIVE it out and SHARE it in everyday life.  Join us beginning on April 10th as we walk through The Story together.

Final Day in Columbus

We had the opportunity to worship at Paramount Church today. They had 63 people in attendance, and this included the 14 in childcare time. There were three families visiting for the first time, and they were from contacts made through canvassing and the block party.

Half of the team is now back in town, and the other bus will arrive in later tonight. Thank you for your prayers for the team. We will be giving a full report on the trip on Sunday, April 21, at 6:00 P.M.

Block Party

Great day at the Block Party. We had around 150-200 from the community come out for lunch, inflatables, and games. You can be praying that some of these families will visit Paramount Church in the weeks ahead.

Columbus Day 2

Over 1,900 flyers were given out to local residents to invite them to the block party taking place on Saturday and to invite them to church on Sunday. It was a beautiful day to be out in the community, and the team had some good conversations. Pray for Alexis as she had to stay back today with a sickness and hopes to rejoin everybody tomorrow. 

Be in prayer for the block party on Saturday from 10:00-2:00.

Knocking on Doors

Thank you for your prayers! Our time here is off to a great start!

We had a good time getting together with the Witt family here in Bexley. God has given them such a heart for their community. As we walked through the neighborhoods, knocked on doors, and handed out hundreds of flyers for Saturday's block party, we are catching the vision for this group of people, too!

The people we met today were very kind. It was neat to see our young people inviting new people to the block party, answering questions, and asking questions about other beliefs. We are here, but more importantly, God is here!!

Please be praying right now for:

-a good night of rest

-recovery for a couple who are ill

-people to be home tomorrow & respond positively to the block party invite

-safety

-travel for the Phillips family (Paramount's youth minister who is coming here to look for housing this weekend as they will soon be relocating-a big praise as they recently sold their home and are now ready to move!)

Arrival in Columbus

The team has arrived in to Columbus and checked into their hotel. Now they are out in the city handing out flyers door to door to invite families to the block party on Saturday and to Paramount Church on Sunday. Pray for Nathan as he has stayed back at the hotel to rest, as he battles a sickness.
