Update out of Seattle

The "Go Seattle" team is having a great trip thus far. We arrived at 1:30 a.m. PST on Sunday morning followed by a short night of sleep and a full day of ministry. Sunday morning the team assisted the set-up at LifePoint church. They meet in a awesome location with a great space for worship and children's ministry. There worship leader was away on vacation so I was able to step in and lead the Sunday morning worship. After worship we assisted the LifePoint volunteers with tearing everything down and putting their supplies in their storage area. After lunch, we headed back to the hotel for a little nap. Sunday evening we provided childcare for the LifePont staff members so they could have a night out. There were 13 kids at two different households...very active kids! We had a great time with the kids and the staff members were very appreciative. Today we are preparing for our first night of the soccer clinic. There are 52 kids pre-registered and we are sure more will show up. This is the largest event they've ever hosted and the first time to do a sports clinic. Keep praying for our team and our impact on the children and families we encounter today.
